Couple of days ago I had a dream, which is now in this image. I didnt know what it means. I only remember it was not very pleasant a dream. In the dream I was standing in this place, looking up to the black Mountain. The river's roaring. There's a rope coming down from the top of the Mountain. And I remember a small bright basket going up along the rope with a man in it. Finally I got some time to do something I 've been thingking about for a long time. Soon it will be my birthday, so I do this image to memorize the years that's gone. Even though many good time and beautiful things are gone, the future is bright and wide. Thanks for Beijing Olympic Games. As a volunteer I have enough free time and inspiration.
The flowers, leaves and trees are created in 3Ds Max, the rest in Photoshop.
At first I wanna do something like old Chinese painting, but soon I got involved in 3D work and made out something entirely different. So I kept on painting but finally only to find that 3D works looked like something 2Ds.
